In his words as he celebrated another birthday, the Uptown boss, who seems to be enjoying the berth of his newly found upscale lounge, said ‘to good friends I lost to death, ego and envy, you all still remain a big part of my story…’
He began, ‘It's been God that has brought me this far and I give Him ALL the praise for the great things He has done in my life. I look back at where am coming from and tears fill my eyes, as I mutter inaudible but powerful words of gratitude from my inner man to my creator and provider.
‘I look ahead with hope and courage, because even though the vision is so broad, it scares me to contemplate how I will get there, but every time He sends words to me directly, through men and in dreams not to be afraid, that He's with me and will never leave me, it's like refreshingly cold water in this earthly wilderness we all exist in.
‘To family, friends and well wishers, thank you for being their, to good friends I lost to death, ego and envy, you all still remain a big part of my story, if only I could turn back the hands of time, I would have tried a bit harder.
‘To my wife, thanks for the love and support over the years, to my kids, I couldn't have asked for better children and I'm proud to be your father, to my mum, I love you, to my dad, thanks for teaching me how to be a man, continue to rest in peace and to my Facebook and social media family, thanks for the love.
‘God bless you and all that's yours in Jesus' mighty name!’ the statement reads.
