Kim Kardashian is opening up about the truth behind Lamar Odom's present state of mind/health and it's really heartbreaking!

In a new interview with 'On Air With Ryan Seacrest,' the expectant mother-of-one reveals that Lamar is alive and getting all the help he needs to be better again but it’s a long road to complete recovery.

"He’s here and he’s alive, but to say it’s not a long road and to say he’s fully better is not the truth either," the 35-year-old said during the interview. "He has a lot of work to do and a lot of communication therapy and having to learn to walk again and to talk again. You never know if he’ll ever be the same again."

The former basketball star was found unconscious in Las Vegas one month ago after an alleged drug overdose. The Kardashian family has gathered around Khloé Kardashian's estranged husband to help him to full recovery. Kim reveals that the whole family — Khloé included — will stand by Odom's side during the grueling process.

"Lamar is family and he’ll always be family, we’ll always do what we can to help take care of him, and protect him, and be there for him," Kim continued with Seacrest. “It’s a really unfortunate, sad situation all the way around the board, and I just encourage people to keep on praying because the road is nowhere near being over."

The heartbreaking admission comes on the heels of Khloe's appearance on the Ellen Show, where the star revealed that Odom is so far unaware of the cause of his injury, and that the whole family has gathered together.

Khloe admits she's still with boyfriend, even though she reportedly called off her divorce with Lamar.
