Lamar Odom's dad puts reality star on blast for refusing to pay his rent

The reports reveal that Khloe had been responsible for the payment of the rent on the Los Angeles home, just has she is reportedly footing the bills for Odom's Calabasas bachelor pad.

The reports reveal that Khloe had been responsible for the payment of the rent on the Los Angeles home, just has she is reportedly footing the bills for Odom's Calabasas bachelor pad.

Speaking in an interview with New York Post, Joe, 62, sad:

“Khloé didn’t even have the guts to tell me herself that my rent wasn’t going to be paid anymore.

“She got the guys who handle Lamar’s money to call me and they said the rent wouldn’t be paid, I gotta move and my phone was going to get cut off.”

The reports reveal that the former NBA star had paid his disabled father’s $4,000 rent for the past 10 years before Khloe had kicked the Army vet and his wife, Cecelia Odom, 59, out last November.

"She disrespected me. She decided to kick me out of my home when Lamar was in hospital in Nevada. I just wish I could be at his side in LA to support him, but Khloé doesn’t want me there."

Joe adds that he believes that Khloe is “smothering” Lamar while attempting to cut off the communication between himself and his son.

“Whenever I call him, she answers. She must be checking his texts, too. I can’t always get through to him anymore.

“She may be Lamar’s wife, but I’m his father. She shouldn’t have cut me out of his life like she has.”

The reports also reveal that Joe had finally been able to get through to Lamar, who reportedly said he would “sort it out,” but still yet, nothing has changed.

Since Khloe has been reported to be responsible for footing Odom's bills, it stands to reason that the NBA star has no money for his own.
