Actress says women should be financially stable

The actress cum politician took to Twitter today, August 22, 2016, saying a woman should be financially stable and capable to hold her own.

Kate Henshaw has said people would have to defend themselves against attacks from herdsmen.

According to her, "I cannot for the life of me understand why a woman will not be financially stable or capable to hold her own should the need arise."

"You are cut off from family n friends. Taken out to another country. You cannot work..you don't even have a phone..is that not prison?" she asked.

"What if there is an emergency?? What will you do?"

Meanwhile, Henshawhas a lot of things to be grateful for after surviving the fire outbreak which razed her home in Lekki in June 2015.

The actress took to her Instagram page to share an unseen photo from the fire disaster.

The photo shows the charred remains of what used to be her bedroom, with the roof gone and the walls blackened from the fire that gutted her home which was a twin duplex.

Henshaw shared the photo, while thanking God for delivering her from the incident which was a massive blow to her at the time.
