Actress loses PDP primaries

The actress was seeking to occupy the House of Representatives seat for the Calabar South/Akpabuyo/Bakassi Federal Constituency but was beaten by a fellow aspirant.

Kate Henshaw will not be starting a political career afterall as she didn’t win the primaries conducted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Cross River State yesterday, December 6.

She announced her loss via Twitter:

“The primaries was conducted in an orderly manner. It was fair n transparent. Sadly I did not make it. My congrats to the winner.”

Other entertainers who have been forced to shelve their political ambitions are Tony Tetuila and Dayo “D1” Adeneye.
