Rapper cancels remaining dates for Saint Pablo tour

Kanye West is on one of his controversial streaks again and has cancelled the rest of his tour.

Since August, Kanye West has performed around 40 dates in Canada and the US, rapping above the stage on an innovative floating platform

The news comes days after the controversial rapper cut short his concert in Sacramento after a rant against his fellow artitses, celebrities and dignitaries.

Us Weekly reports that Kanye's Rep confirmed the cancellation, saying:

"The remaining dates on the Saint Pablo tour have been cancelled. Tickets will be fully refunded at point of purchase."

According to the reports, Kanye had 21 dates to go in the U.S part of his tour.

A source reportedly disclosed to Us Weekly, "He's just exhausted. He's been working around the clock on fashion design, both his own line and the Adidas line. He's a notorious workaholic ... so balancing both that work — which is extremely important to him — and the rigors of the tour every night, it really wore him out.

"All the time spent away from his family has been a stress on him, as well. They are the most important to him. Obviously he's a professional and wants to give his fans a great experience, and I think his gut was telling him not to extend the tour through the end of the year, but he decided to push through. He doesn't want to give his fans anything less than the best."

Earlier reports revealed that the "Fade" rapper ended his show on Saturday, November 19, at Sacramento's Golden 1 Center after starting 90 minutes late and barely performing four songs.

He later went on a 15-minute rant about other famous people including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Hillary Clinton, DJ Khaled, Mark Zuckerberg and LeBron James, before dropping the microphone and cancelling the rest of the show.

This is the second time the rapper has left his fans sorely disappointed by his show cancellation.

The fans took to Twitter shortly after, creating the hashtag #KanyeIsOverParty which trended on Sunday.

Kanye West later went on Instagram and posted 99 weird old-schools after having just one post since he joined the picture and video sharing medium.

Meanwhile, after a campaign in which fellow artists and African Americans backed rival Hillary Clinton, the rapper told an audience late Thursday that he did not vote, but would have chosen Trump if he had cast his ballot.
