Rapper breaks down during BBC interview

After his controversial performance at the BRIT Awards, Kanye West cries during his interview with Zane Lowe of BBC.

The usual egocentric Hip-Hop figure Kanye West broke down emotionally during his interview with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio.

Kanye West who had an emotionally charged interview with Zane Lowe two years ago, was more calm and sober during this time around.

The legendary rapper and producer started crying when he talking about the late fashion design professor Louise Wilson, who was his mentor.

"I didn't know we were going to lose her...and she told me, she said, you know, 'Thank you for the times where I came to performances and this has like really meant a lot to me, with..." said Kanye West when talking about his mentor who passed away last May.

After speaking about her, he broke down and cried. Zane Lowe allowed Kanye to take a break to compose himself.

When he came back, Kanye West admitted that he had never cried during an interview. "That's never happened to me in an interview before, I think I'm good" he said.
