Johnny Depp and his two poppies - Boo and Pistol - are under attack from the Australian Government who claim the actor smuggled the dogs into the country in April.

Australian officials say 'The Pirates of the Caribbean' star and wife, Amber Heard disrespected the laws of the land by not quarantining dogs he allegedly smuggled in.

They say according to Australian law the pups were to be quarantined for a minimum of two days to make sure they carry no foreign diseases into the 'fragile ecosystem'.

If the dogs aren't checked by Saturday, May 16, they would face a death sentence by the country's Agriculture minister, reports TMZ.

Depp's rep tells the Associated Press that the dogs are under a 'home quarantine' but didn't specify more than that.

'Captain Jack Sparrow' is currently in Australia to shoot the 5 sequel to his box office blockbuster 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.
