Actor faces 10 years imprisonment in Australia

Smuggling his two dogs into Australia could land Depp 10 years behind bars if incident gets to court

Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp could be heading to jail and that's thanks to his dogs.

We earlier reported that in April, the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star smuggled his Yorkshire Terriers (dogs) into Australia on trip to shoot a movie.

But he got into trouble with the Minister of Agriculture, Barnaby Joyce, when he was ordered to take the dogs out within 50 hours else they would be euthanized.

Reports claim the actor were immediately transported out but the actor is now being told that if this incident heads to court, he can face up to 10 years in prison and pay a fine of $265,000.
