Veteran singer, Phil Collins has splashed a staggering $33m on Jennifer Lopez former sprawling waterfront Miami Beach mansion.

Reports claimed that the mansion, which was once owned by the pop sensation and actress has been sold to Brit rocker, in a $33 million deal that was closed on Monday, June 15, 2015.

Further information revealed that Collins bought the mansion from Mark Gainor, who had bought mansion from J.Lo in 2005 for $13.9 million.

Sources further squealed that after Gainor spent three years on renovating the mansion- work included the removal of the roof and the reconfiguration of all rooms on the second floor- after which he put the house on sale for $37.5 million.

Situated on 5800 North Bay Road, with roughly 200 feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay, Collins is said to have nabbed the home as he spends quality time in Miami though he has a house in New York.

The gut-renovated Mediterranean-style home has in its feature, seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and three half-bathrooms, an interior courtyard with koi pond, a cabana with outdoor kitchen, boat dock, a 60-foot swimming pool and a roomy master suite whose closet alone measures roughly 1,000 square feet.
