Fans blasts rapper for staying silent on Baltimore riot

Sorry, is Jay Z the leader of the free world? Well some fans think he should say something.

Jay Z

Many black leaders and stars have been reacting to the Baltimore riot since it broke out last night, April 27 but Jay Z who is considered the 'biggest black leader of music' denied to say a word.

While many expected a word of confidence and strength from their icons, Jay jumped on Twitter to talk about his business venture instead.

Of course some fans thought he deliberately ignored what his fellow black community is going through but is more concerned about his bank account.

One fan wrote: ''Jay Z used to travel down to Baltimore to sell his drugs. Obama has this perpetrator of the scourge of illegal drugs in the black community at the White House all the time. He and his skripper wife should have never been allowed to set foot in there.''

Adding: ''Especially when he and his wife showed us all that they are self-serving money hungry opportunists who care only to suck every dollar out of the black community and not care what happens in it.... The statement was made very clear when they chose to conduct business with Barneys as they racial profile blacks. ''

However another stated: ''Just because he is a celebrity does not mean he has to contribute to any type of social Change.''

What do you think, Should Jay Z say something?
