Power couple giving us just enough to beg for more

Ever since they started their affair, the power couple have done just enough to keep us asking for more. When they started dating they were very coy in admitting that they were seeing each other.

When things got serious they refused to be seen by the paparazzi together for a long time. When they got married- it came as a surprise to everyone basically.

No matter the height of the public interest on the two of them, Jay and B have only given us glimpses of their elite relationship, and for good reason also.

Yes, the couple love their privacy and they want their daughter Blue Ivy to grow up as normal as possible but being the business savvy entertainers they are, the aura of mystery they have cloaked themselves with has allowed people to be interested in them.

Jay Z and Beyonce don’t speak to the media anymore because they want to control the narrative about them. They also people to keep guessing about the true state of their marriage. Remember, mystery is very attractive and that is what the Carters are all about.

After the infamous elevator incident in 2015 involving Solange Knowles, the world expected Jay Z and Beyonce to speak about their marriage to the media. They didn’t do such. All we got was a line from Beyonce in a song. That was all. The Carters would prefer you keep guessing rather than talk about it. If they do, they lose the aura of mystery they have worked so hard to get.

Now this brings us to Beyonce’s latest album ‘’, a body of work built on the premise that Jay Z cheated on his wife. Predictably the album did well commercially but the major talking point of the album is if Jay Z did really cheat on Beyonce.

Shortly after the album was released, the Beyhive came up with different conspiracy theories that Rachel Roy or Rita Ora was the other woman in Jay Z and Beyonce’s marriage. In usual fashion Jay Z and Beyonce have kept quiet on it...well at least to the media.

There are new reports that Jay Z and Beyonce have finished work on a joint album that will discuss the core concept of the 'Lemonade album'. This is Hov and B at their best- they use the rumours about them to create music and make money. Of course this album will be exclusive on Tidal for God knows how long.

Jay Z and Beyonce have been able to be one of the most entertaining couples and ironically that’s because they don’t say much so as not to destroy the mystique around them. That’s why we keep wanting more.
