Singer appointed Cross River ambassador gets car, salary

The appointment was revealed yesterday (November 22) at the 2015 Calabar Carnival in Cross River state.

 

Triple MG singer Iyanya has been appointed ambassador of Cross River state.

He was the chosen by the state Governor Ben Ayade. The appointment was revealed yesterday (November 22) at the 2015 Calabar Carnival in Cross River state.

With his new appointment, Iyanya will get an official car from the state and receive a monthly salary.

At the appointment ceremony Senator Florence Ita-Giwa was present as well Triple MG boss Ubi Franklin and his wife Lilian Esoro.

Iyanya comes from Calabar in Cross River. In most of his music videos he showcases the culture of his state.

Yesterday Iyanya announced that he will be releasing an R&B collaboration album with Banky W.

"Watch out for me and Banky we are dropping a album” the singer told Hip TV.
