'It's over' - popular Instagram couple announce divorce 6 days after welcoming 2nd child

The Internet has been hit with a shock as a popular couple on Instagram announce their divorce.

Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi with her American husband, Dr Justin Dean who is a Los Angeles-based chiropractor and sports therapist, have emerged as one of the beautiful couples online following how they share their love life and family stories online.

Just six days after the lovers went viral for welcoming their second child together through water birth at home, Dr Justin has come out to announce that he is divorcing the 27-year-old who is also a singer and an actress.

"@Korraobidi and I are getting a divorce. It's over" he wrote in an Instagram post. Throwing light on the reason for the divorce, he added that "I won't be treated this way. I did my absolute best to make it work".

The American doctor shared a screenshot of his text on his Instagram feed with a caption that says "I didn't want this. I did my best. My heart is broken. I supported her, I loved her. I don't deserve the way I was treated".

The post has come as a shock to fans of the lovers with many doubting it. Others suggested it is a prank but Dr Justin replied a comment on his post to say that "absolutely not a prank". He later took to his Instastory to say that "not a joke".

Korra Obidi has however remained silent on the breaking story as she has not posted anything on Instagram ever since her husband made the shocking announcement.

The lovers tied the knot on December 17, 2017, and got blessed with their first daughter on 9th July 2019.

Meanwhile, social media users continue to express shock and doubt over the story. Checks by pulse.com.gh also show that Dr Justin has removed the divorce post from his page.
