Is Yomi Gold now a US citizen?

Yomi Gold appeared set for a big occasion while meeting with others at a US courthouse. Has he secured a green card?

On his Instagram he shares a video of himself shaking hands with some persons in a courthouse.

It seemed like a moment to remember in his caption accompanying the clip.

"Very meaningful and rewarding moment.. God bless United state of America," he writes.

Perhaps the excitement noticeable in his post is worthy of celebration considering a strict immigration policy in the US.

Fed up with healthcare in Nigeria

In November 2017, Yomi Gold complained about healthcare in Nigeria after losing a friend that died in a surgery. But this hasn't really threatened the love he has for his country.

The actor tells Pulse that his status as a US citizen has only invited more responsibility.

He also confirms that he is not moving out of Nigeria.

"I am not moving permanently.  I guess now I have more to do in terms of work and traveling".
