Rapper cancels Pittsburgh concert amidst homophobic attacks

Iggy Azalea has announced that she's canceling her Pittsburgh Pride performance after receiving serious backlash from the LGBT community for her past tweets, considered to be homophobic.

The 25-year-old Australian rapper took to Twitter on June 8 to dish out the sad news and send out her respect and love for the LGBT community.

''This has been a difficult decision as I truly support the event and LGBTQIA communities, however I feel my participation at this point would only serve to further distract from the true purpose of the event,'' the newly engaged star shared on Twitter.
