Members of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association (TAMPAN) which broke away from the Association of Nigerian Theatre Practitioners paid a condolence visit to the Awolowo family over the weekend.

The Yoruba actors who visited the Awolowo family house at Ikenne to pay their respects were Dele Odule, Peju Ogunmola, Bolaji Amusan (Mr Latin), Ebun Oloyede (Olaiya Igwe), Antar Laniyan, Yomi Fash Lanso and others.
Hannah Idowu Dideolu (HID) Awolowo, the matriarch of the Awolowo family, and wife of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo passed away on September 19, 2015. She passed away at the age of 99.

The burial of the late Hannah Idowu Dideolu (HID) Awolowo will hold on November 25, 2015, her daughter has said.
Mrs HID Awolowo died on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the age of 99. She would have turned 100 on November 25.
The matriarch’s death has caused an outpouring of grief from around the nation with eminent personalities, including former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
Goodluck Jonathan visited the Awolowo home on Tuesday, September 23, and was accompanied by his wife, Patience Jonathan.
