Hayden Panettiere is coming clean about the struggle she faced after giving birth to daughter Kaya Evdokia in December and says other women need to know they're not alone.

"When [you’re told] about postpartum depression you think it’s ‘I feel negative feelings towards my child, I want to injure or hurt my child’ — I’ve never, ever had those feelings," the 26-year-old said during an appearance on Live! with Kelly and Michael.

"You don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on... It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal," she added.

The actress continued, "There’s a lot of misunderstanding — there’s a lot of people out there that think...'Oh, it’s hormones’ — It’s something that’s completely uncontrollable. It’s really painful and it’s really scary and women need a lot of support."

Luckily, Hayden has plenty of that thanks to fiancé, boxer Wladimir Klitschko, 39, whose bond with Kaya is described as "inseparable."

So can we expect to see another baby from the duo in the near future? "I would love to have a big family," the blonde beauty admits. "I always said four, but I’m not gonna speak too soon. One at a time."
