Designer slams gay men's clothing: ''Dont' dress homosexual''

The 80-year-old told The Sunday Time Magazine, ''A Man has to be a man.''

Giorgio Armani

undefinedhas been badged on social media after he slammed some gay men and their usual dress sense saying they don't need to 'dress homosexual.'

Fans condemned him claiming he has no right to slam the way some homosexual men dress despite being one of the world's most prolific fashion designers.

In his interview with The Sunday Times Magazine on April 19, the 80-year-old said:

''A homosexual man is a man 100 per cent. He does not need to dress homosexual. When homosexuality is exhibited to the extreme – to say: 'Ah, you know I’m homosexual,' – that has nothing to do with me. A man has to be a man.''

Unfortunately for Armani, fans exploded on social media with one writing: @, ''I respond thusly: F*ck you, Giorgio Armani. #''.

Another wrote: @IamJamesWolf , ''I'd rather be dressed in drag than spotted in Armani Xchange or any of his other vile labels.''

In the same interview, Giorgio also expressed his distaste of men who are too muscular and women who get plastic surgery. Saying he likes 'natural woman' who are “not desperate to look younger,” calling plastic surgery “idiocy.”

"I don’t like muscle boy,'' Giorgio said about muscular men. "Not too much gym! I like somebody healthy, somebody solid, who looks after his body but doesn’t use his muscles too much,'' he says
