"The NBA season, her work schedule with Being Mary Jane. It’s all so fast and then here you go and we’re at a year already. But it’s been a great year. We’re looking forward to celebrating that day and moving forward."

Her husband did give her some hints all the same, "I mean, our wedding was so spectacular, and this has been a great year, so I've keep some kind of element of surprise for this one right here," he told her. "All is good in her book. So I've gotta keep a little element of surprise... I said 'Bring nothing. The less the better.'"

The Miami Heat star, who had already packed for the trip, noted that it was their last trip together before a busy NBA season ahead.

"We’re taking off around the time of our anniversary. So, we’ll make sure that we’re celebrating that time together before I get back into really going full speed ahead into training camp at the end of next month. We’ll take one more trip together."
