The 37-year-old rapper says she and newly wed husband, Maximilion Cooper are happy enjoying their marriage and raising his four children
While most 'African' girls think having children after marriage is very important, ace rapper Eve, says she and husband, Maximillion Cooper are not in a rush to have children, "We're happy in out newlywed bliss".
In a recent interview with HuffPost, the 37-year-old femcee said she didn't feel the pressure of getting married at a certain age but of having children in a marriage. However, she says motherhood could be great.
"Well, we already have four. I’m a step-mom to four children... I'd love to have two of my own,” the rapper admitted.
On whether she and hubby are planning on making babies now that they are officially a couple, she said, "No, we are happy in our newlywed bliss at the moment. We can’t wait, but we’re not rushing.”
The 'With This Ring' actress also dished on how she copes as a step-mom. She said:
"It is [very complicated], but I got very lucky. We’ve been together five years; I got with the kids at a good age. The two oldest are 11 and 12, so I think if I would have tried to get in on it now, it would’ve been like, ‘Who’s this chick?’ I kind of grew up with them. So now I’m a staple. But it is hard and it is challenging. My life was so different. I don’t even think I talked to kids before him."
