Producer praises actress; ''she brings electric energy to film''

Movie produer/director James Ponsoldt tells Variety magazine she's one of British biggest talents.

Emma Watson

Producer for the upcoming film, 'The Circle', James Ponsoldt has praised former 'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson saying she is one of Britain's most successful actresses.

In a statement to Variety magazine, Ponsoldt said: ''Emma Watson is one of my favorite actors, and her incredible talent, sensitivity, and deep intelligence will bring an electric energy to The Circle.''

'The Circle' is the upcoming adaptation of Dave Eggers‘ novel to star Watson and veteran actor Tom Hanks.

The glossy publication reports that the actress will play 'an employee hired for a big job in an Internet monopoly called the Circle, which links users’ personal emails, social media, banking and purchasing with their universal operating system, resulting in one online identity and a new age of civility and transparency.'

Another source claims Watson will play the lead character 'Mae' in the forthcoming production, which will be adapted and directed by James Ponsoldt.

Tom Hanks will not only be starring in the movie, but he will also act as one of its producers.

Filming is tentatively expected to start across California in September, which a release date pencilled in for 2016.
