The funny scene happened at the Munster Junior Cup final between two schools in Limerick, Ireland last week.
Singer's lookalike gets serenaded at rugby match in Ireland
Most likely not Ed Sheeran, but someone who looks a lot like him got a whiff of stardom when fans on the stands at a rugby game belted out a rendition of the Pop star's ‘Thinking out loud’.
Fans of the Christian Brothers College Cork team led the hook of the song, singing: "And, baby, my heart could still fall as hard at 23, and I’m thinking ’bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways…"
Unfortunately for the fans who looked to be pretty much enjoying their afternoon, the song did not inspire their team to victory. They lost the match.
They fans would probably not be too disheartened, though, afterall they got to see Ed Sheeran, didn't they?
