TMZ reports that the Los Angeles County District Attorney has thrown out the case due to lack of sufficient evidence.
Sources close to Hip Hop mogul have referred to the case as "ridiculous" and are hardly surprised by the D.A's decision.
As previously reported, Dre was arrested on Monday, July 25, 2016, at his Malibu mansion, after a motorist blocking the music producer's driveway, insisted that he be arrested, claiming that he had pulled a gun on him following a verbal dispute.
After arriving at the scene following the call, the police had searched the property but failed find to any gun.
