Disgraced billionaire begs NBC to save Miss USA pageant?

Trump filed a $500 million lawsuit against Univision on June 30 for pulling the plug on the beauty pageant claiming, in his suit, it was breach of contract

Donald Trump vs NBC

US Presidential hopeful, Donald Trump has been dumped by the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) over racist comment on Mexican-Americans on June 25. Hence leaving the Miss USA Pageant – which he has majority stake in – kicked out as well.

Latest reports say organizers of the beauty pageant are pleading with NBC to reverse their decision to ban the show on the network.

TMZ reports that organizers are now seeking for a TV station that could air the show just 2 weeks before the contest. They also think the entire show shouldn't be canceled because of Trump, even he owns majority shares.

A petition, organized by the Miss USA executives, has began to help ask everyone associated with the pageant and others to send emails to NBC CEO Steve Burke.

But then again the execs say they're between a rock and a hard place, because only Trump can try to cut a deal with another network, and he's not doing so at the moment.

The execs hope NBC could show mercy on the 51 women who have nothing to do with Trump's mess.

Meanwhile, Trump filed undefinedagainst Univision on June 30 for pulling the plug on the beauty pageant claiming, in his suit, it was breach of contract. He's also threatened to go after NBC with another lawsuit for the same reason.
