Media entrepreneur Chief Dele Momodu has responded to claims by 23 year old Nigerian pop sensation Davido that Sophie Momodu (his baby mama) infected their daughter Imade Adeleke with cannabis.

In a series of tweets made yesterday (January 4) Chief Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation Magazine, tweeted that he is fighting oppression from the Adeleke family, and is determined to see the law take its natural course on this matter.

He also hinted that we shall soon find out who is the ‘king of Cannabis in Nigeria’. It’s more than likely he was responding to Davido’s claim that his niece smoked cannabis which affected the baby’s health.

In a lengthy narrative, Davido disclosed how Sophia didn’t allegedly fulfill her duties as a mother to their daughter.

Meanwhile Sophie Momodu has petitioned the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, over what she terms child abduction.

In a report by The Punch Newspaper, Sophie, through her lawyer, Gbolaga Ajayi, had sent a petition against the young musician.

The Lagos State Zonal Commander of the agency, Joseph Famakin had confirmed the receipt of the petition against Imade's dad and said the agency is working on it. See video for more.
