"God knows the truth" singer says about friend's death

Davido finally speaks about the death of his friend, claiming that only God knows the truth about the mysterious death.

The singer took to his Snapchat where he dropped some emotional messages about the death of his friend.

Davido responded to the accusation that he dumped the dead body of his friend at an undisclosed General Hospital. "PPLE are just wicked!!!This is wat i get for treating everybody like my brother!!!" he wrote on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

"I was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden death of my friend Tagbo. 1st and foremost my sincere condolence and prayers are with his family at this time. I've been in the same position before, multiple times and also of recent.

But it is also disappointing that false information and complete lies have been put out there using my name, as usual. Out of total respect for Tagbo and his family I will not discuss this matter further for now. Rest In Peace Tagbo," he said on Snapchat.

It would be recalled that on October 3, 2017, actress Caroline Danjuma dropped a bombshell about the death of Tagbo. She alleged that Davido and his friends abandoned and ran offafter dropping off the body of Tagbo at a yet to be identified General Hospital.

"Davido where is Tagbo…. he was with you and ur crew last night … you all wore face cap to hide your identities after he died in ur car.. u dumped him at general hospital and ran away … the law must play its role this time.. you all better provide Tagbo alive.. @davidoofficial.

"After you all abandoned him at general hospital you continued you stupid grooving at DNA and had the nerves to promote ur show.. this ain’t no ordinary boy you can intimidate his family… we need you to tell us how he died in ur car and why u ran away.. the police and the hospital confirmed u all ran away.. if u think ur money can save u , u just met ur match. Promise,"  the actress ended a long rant.

In a twist to the story, celebrity photographer, Elejo, posted on his Instagram page on October 4, 2017, a video where Davido and his crew were celebrating Tagbo's birthday. He, however, said Davido and the rest of the crew decided to go to Oniru beach with Tagbo inclusive. He also said Tagbo left in his own car and that was the last they heard and saw of him.
