Cobhams performed at the Global Citizen Festival which saw pop queen Beyonce, and Cold Play sing at.
Nigerian music producer Cobhams Asuquo was at the Global Citizen Festival on September 26 in New York City.
Cobhams performed at the event which saw pop queen Beyonce, and Cold Play sing at. The award winning producer who has worked with the likes of Asa, Omawumi and Timi Dakolo did more than just perform.
Cobhams met with some very big names at the festival such as Hollywood actress Kerry Washington, Sir Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group, legendary rock singer Sting and new singing sensation Ed Sheeran. He also met Hollywood actress Olivia Wilde.
Of course Cobhams Asuquo accompanied by his wife Ojuola Asuquo took selfies with all these celebrities. Him meeting Kerry Washington is the funniest. In the caption of his picture with the 'Scandal' star he wrote "So @ojuola said, "Our Nigerian sister!" And she said: "Yes I am your igbo sister." @KerryWashington is one of us. Please who can make great Nsala or onugbu because we need to prepare for our sister when she comes home! #kerrywashington #globalgoals#centralpark #newyork."
Cobhams also bumped into Nigerian rapper Ice Prince in New York.
Irish rock god Bono of the legendary group U2 was in Nigeria last month where he met Cobhams and other Nigerian celebrities.
