According to TMZ, Trigz got into an altercation with a man outside of Black Derby Smoke Shop in North Hollywood.

Since then, fans have placed candles in front of his shop.

Breeezy took to Twitter to say how shocked he was about the news. He wrote:
"Friend tells ABC7 that shooting victim is artist known as Trigz. RIP homie. Shit it crazy!"
Another rapper, Birdman aslo posted an imageof Trigz with the caption: "Trigz being sneaky with some 40s ####"
