The singer is suspected of misdemeanor battery following a basketball game fight in Las Vegas

Chris Brown

Chris Brown is finding himself the center of another alleged fracas after a verbal altercation turned physical at a basketball game at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Monday, May 4.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department claim the battered victim was punched by a man allegedly identified to be Chris Brown, and then hit again by another man reportedly with Brown after preparing to defend himself.

The 26-year-old singer is now been charged with misdemeanor battery despite no arrests have been made.

Brown's rep has however denied the claims against him saying in a statement:

"Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drais on May 5 and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well. He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person."
