Today is Skales, Capital Femi and Michael Bobby Obodo's birthday!

Born, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, April 1, 1991, Skales, is a Nigerian rapper, singer-songwriter and performer.

 

In 2000, he started writing rap songs in Kaduna. Between 2007 to 2008, he travelled to Jos to work with Jesse Jagz and Jeremiah Gyang. His debut single, "Must Shine", received numerous spin on the Rhythm FM stations in Lagos, Jos and Abuja. He later relocated to Lagos and signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment in 2009.

Skales has recorded over 200 songs and collaborated with numerous artists, including ELDee, Jeremiah Gyang, Banky W and Knighthouse. Some of his well known songs include "Shake Body", "Mukulu", "Keresimesi", "Komole" and "Denge Pose".

Skales established his record label, OHK Music, after departing from Empire Mates Entertainment in May 2014. His debut album, Man of the Year, was released in 2015.

 

Capital F.E.M.I born Femi Adeyinka is a versatile R&B vocalist and song writer. A native of Abeokuta, Ogun state Nigeria. Born in Lagos, he had his early education at Fountain School Surulere, Maryland Private School and spent two years at Government College Ibadan before he proceeded at age 12 to the United States of America.

 

He has shared the same stage with internationally known artistes such as 2Face, Style Plus, Sunny Neji, And Ne-Yo to mention.

Michael Bobby Obodo is a Nigerian actor based in Canada.

Obodo is the founder and CEO of Nigerian Youths for Change and a youth/community organization in Toronto, Canada called 'All In'.

He is also a political activist, a boxer and a writer. He does more political analysis via his write-ups on various political platforms in Africa and Canada. Obodo made an entry into Nollywood about six years ago.
