King Sunny Ade a,k.a KSA is one of the greatest musicians in Nigeria, and regarded as one of the most influential artistes of all time.
The legendary musician has over 123 albums to his credit. In 1982, Sunny Ade was signed to Island Records, that same year he released the album Juju Music. The album was received with great reviews. Rolling Stone Magazine called it 'breathtaking'.
His follow up album Syncro System was nominated for a Grammy in 1983.

President, Muhammadu Buhari sent his congratulatory message to the legend, King Sunny Ade in a statement issued by Femi Adesina, the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
The statement read: "President Buhari joins friends, family and fans of the multi-talented instrumentalist, songwriter and dancer in celebrating his remarkable life.
"The Septuagenarian had over the years brought pride to his country by mastering his art against all odds, taking the African musical genre to the global stage."
Ghanaian actor Majid Michel is also our birthday boy today.
Michel started acting fifteen years ago. Majid Michel is one of many Ghanaian actors that broke through to Nollywood in the mid 00's.

His acting skills have seen him win the Best Actor in a Leading Role at the AMAAs in 2012.
