Kemi Lala Akindoju, Praiz are a year older today

Praiz, a native of Igala in Kogi State was born in Lagos but later relocated to Kaduna in 1992 after his father was transferred there on a missionary work.

Born on the 8th of March 1984, Praiz, real name, Praise Ugbede Adejo is a Nigerian R&B songwriter, producer and singer. His music career hit the limelight after he finished second runner-up at the maiden season of Project Fame West Africa.

Praiz, a native of Igala in KogiState was born in Lagos but later relocated to Kaduna in 1992 after his father was transferred there on a missionary work and has a National Diploma in ComputerScience after graduating from KadunaPolytechnic.

Praiz has worked with several artistes including Awilo Longomba, Cobhams, Wizkid, Seyi Shay, Bez and M.I. One of his many works is a song he collaborated with fellow Nigerian artiste Bez on the hit single "That Stupid Song" which went on to be the first African video to make a world premiere on BET’s 106 & Park.

On 22 July 2012, he released the hit single titled "Rich and Famous" which got positive reviews and massive airplay thus getting him nominated in several award events. On 14 December 2014, Praiz released his debut studio album titled Rich & Famous.

Kemi Lala Akindoju fondly called "Lala" is a fast rising actor, drama instructor, casting director and producer.

She grew up in Lagos and started acting professionally in 2005. She has since featured in over 70 stage and film productions around the world. She was announced Actor of the Year at The Future Awards 2010 and was also nominated for the same award in 2012. She holds a Masters Degree in Media and Communication from the Pan-African University.

Lala was part of the team of actors selected to perform at the Theatre Royale Stratford East as part of the cultural events at the cultural Olympiad during the London 2012 Olympics. She is a member of the faculty at the Lufodo Academy of Performing Arts (LAPA), where she functions as a facilitator and teaches improvisation drama.

Lala recently walked away with the Trail blazer award at the just concluded African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
