Popular Nigerian OAP, actresses and artist celebrate birthdays today.

Veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva celebrates her birthday turns 53 today. The multiple award winning actress has been acting for a while and mentored several of the new faces we see in Nigerian movies. Silva is married to fellow actor Olu Jacobs, the pair have two adopted children.

The programmes director for Beat FM and respected veteran OAP, Olisa Adibua adds another year today, September 29, 2014.

Adibua is a popular OAP in Nigeria who started out as a presenter on NTA. He has hosted several top notch shows such as Project Fame Africa, Launch of MTV Base Africa and several more.

Adibua who has been in the media industry for over 20 years shares the same birthday with fellow Nigerian celebrities; 'E no easy' singer J Martins as well as Yoruba entertainer Bimbo Thomas.

J Martins who recently released his newest track called 'Faro' and turns 37 today. He is married to Nnezi Diana Mbila and the pair have a son together.

Bimbo Thomas is very popular on the Yoruba acting scene, she is close friends with Funke Akindele and Eniola Badmus. The actress is currently in New York.
