Chocolate City Music President and rapper M.I Abaga turns 34 today.

The 'Bad Belle' rapper rose from nothing to stardom in 2006 when his debut single ‘Crowd mentality’ became popular in his hometown, Jos.

Followed with the release of ‘Safe ‘featuring Djinee, he brought live to rap music in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

The track became an instant hit all over the country and on December 11, 2008, M.I released his debut album, 'Talk About It'.

The Nigerian rapper recently sealed a new endorsement deal with the popular cognac brand Martell , and shared various pictures of him endorsing cognac drink.

The endorsement was officially unveiled at COVA Lounge, Mega Plaza Rooftop, Idowu Martins, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday, October 2, 2015.

Last month, the rap star attended the launch of the Phantom 5 by Tecno.

On 22 September, M.I blasted Femi Fani Kayode for his comments on the Olu Falae abduction.
