Singer speaks after Taylor Swift Breakup

It came as a shocker when it was flashed on the news on June 1, 2016 that the young Hollywood couple called off their relationship of 15 months.

That was kind of disappointing, the thing is their breakup wasn’t about cheating, it was because the romance was just not there anymore for them. They became more of friends than lovers.

However, rumors had it that the chemistry between them died, Calvin was getting intimidated by Taylor's success and he has been bored for a while and was hoping the spark would come back but it didn't.

Just to end the rumors and let the world know that they are still cool as friends, Calvin took to Twitter to thrash out any misconception.

"The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect," he wrote.

And while Taylor Swift is yet to react to the news, she chose to retweet her ex-boyfriend's message from her own account.
