While everyone seems to be full of praises for Caitlyn Jenner after taking home the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYS on Wednesday, July 15, producer, Peter Berg thinks the reality star didn't deserve the honor.

Berg, who's the producer behind the Friday Night Lights TV series, took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 15, to share a critical meme about Jenner.

The 51-year-old producer simply wrote "Yup" and posted a side-by-side photo of army veteran Gregory D. Gadson and Jenner. The meme was shared as a comparison between the reality star's bravery with that of the serviceman. The pic carried this message:

"One man traded 2 legs for the freedom of the other to trade 2 balls for 2 boobs. Guess which man made the cover of Vanity Fair, was praised for his courage by President Obama and is to be honored with the 'Arthur Ashe Courage Award' by ESPN?"

Berg's Instagram set off a firestorm in the comments with many former fans telling the director that they would no longer support his work.

"Coach Taylor would be ashamed," one Instagram user wrote, referencing the beloved FNL character played by Kyle Chandler. "I know I am."

Berg isn't the only celebrity who has slammed the former Olympian after transitioning into female on June 1. Rapper Snoop Dogg refered to her a 'science project' in a June Instagram post. He posted a photo of Akon with the message: 'Shout out to Akon! He is about to supply 600 million Africans with solar power. Im really upset that this isn't major news but that science project bruce jenner is #Society.''

Music producer Timbaland and American actor, undefined have also posted transphobic messages on Instagram.
