Britney Spear's now ex boyfriend, Charlie Ebersol is reportedly heartbroken following his recent split from the pop star after dating for eight months.

Reports say the 32-year-old film producer didn't think that they would end up apart as he thought the "Work B**ch" songtress was his soul mate.

Following the split newson June 23, Charlie posted an emotional video on Instagram showing him cuddling a dog. The video was set to Randy Newman's "You've Got a Friend in Me".

He captioned it, "We are nothing if we are not a collection of the scars, tattoos, and smiles of a life well lived. I wish for you today, that you find great joy in the joy you spark in others. If nothing else, I hope you're happy just in knowing that you made me happy. It is never lost on me the love with which I have been blessed.
