There are conflicting statements from New Edition singer, Bobby Brown and his ex-wife's mother, Cissy Houston over the real state of Bobbi Kristina Brown's health after she was moved to DeKalb Medical Center in Georgia.

While Bobby, who was spotted earlier in the week at the DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia, claimed his daughter was awake, Cissy insists that though the young Brown isn't in a medically induced coma anymore, she's neither awake nor have fully recovered.

According to reports, Bobby, who made the 'Bobbi is awake' statement on Saturday, released an official statement, to support his claims writing: 'Bobbi Kristina's condition has changed and there has been improvement.'

'I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma, she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive.

'Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me.

'We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time. Keep us in your prayers,' the statement reads.

In March, the only daughter of Whitney and Bobby, Bobbi Kristina, was moved from Emory University hospital - where she stayed for two months - to a rehabilitation facility in Atlanta, after been found unresponsive in her home on January 31, 2015.
