Bobby Brown is no longer the playboy heartthrob he was in the 90's. It is time for him to act like a grown up.
Now in the twilight of his musical career Bobby Brown had an interview with ABC News’ Robin Roberts for a special edition of ‘20/20’. In the interview Brown said a few things that he shouldn’t have said.
For one, he said the first time he saw Whitney Houston do drugs was on their wedding day. He claims she offered him a bit of cocaine but he refused to indulge. Brown also stated that he and Houston never did drugs in front of her daughter even though she was at home with them. “I always made a point to not let her see me or my wife in that type of situation, in that type of feeling.”
He also went on to say that Whitney was bi-sexual and had a sexual relationship with Robyn Crawford, her creative director. Also in his memoir ‘Every Little Step’ to be released on June 13 Bobby Brown made the bizarre claim that he once had sex with a ghost. “One memorable night, one of the ghosts descended from the ceiling and had sex with me. After you stop laughing, I need you to hear what I’m saying because I’m not making this up. And let me add this: This was before I ever touched any drug besides weed and alcohol.”
Okay maybe for the sake of selling his book we can understand why Brown would make such a ludicrous statement of him having sex with a ghost in a haunted house.
What cannot be ignored is him not allowing Whitney Houston’s memory to rest in peace. I see no reason for him revealing that his late wife did cocaine on her wedding day, and that she was bi-sexual. Bobby Brown spilling all these secrets is unnecessary and is just bringing up bad memories. What is in the past should stay in the past.
To me this feels like Bobby Brown digging up some Whitney Houston stories for some press time. He should respect the woman he once loved and let her be. The world already knows about Whitney’s struggle with drugs. We don't need new tales about her greatest flaw.
Bobby Brown is no boy or young man. He is fully grown and should start acting like it.
