The 78-year-old comedian was released on $1 million bail on Wednesday, December 30 after being arraigned on aggravated indecent assault charges from a 2004 sexual assault case for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee,Andrea Constand.
Following Cosby's brief court appearance, movie director Judd Apatow, who has been one of the most vocal stars in Hollywood to condemn Cosby over the 50 sexual assault claims against the comedian, tweeted his reaction to the news

In addition, his 'Girls' collaborator Lena Dunham and others praised the court's decision against Cosby. Cosby has vehemently denied all of the allegations.
