Bill Clinton ditched his politico hat for that of grandpa, doting on granddaughter Charlotte as they spent the afternoon in New York City’s Madison Square Park on Thursday morning (July 16).

Reports say the former president took his daughter, Chelsea's daughter to see a kids concert.

This is not the first time Clinton has been on babysitting duty either, saying last week that he and wife Hillary Clinton were recently in charge of the tiny tyke for her parents.

However, on Thursday, Clinton was not getting any help from Hillary, as she was busy working on her campaign. Instead, Charlotte's nanny did join the two, though Clinton happily held his granddaughter the entire time, bouncing around to the music of 'Songs for Seeds'.

Fashion wise, Clinton looked very dapper for his day out with Charlotte, wearing a matching vest and pants along with an oxford and tie.

At an event in Texas last week, Clinton gushed over his granddaughter saying:

''[Last night], my granddaughter — 91/2 months old — for the first time when I walked to her room, [Hillary] said 'Oh there’s your granddad,' and she pointed right at me. That was worth more than anything anybody had said or done.''

He then told President George W. Bush, who was also at the event, how everything he said about being a grandfather was true and it was wonderful.
