What in the world is going on between these two?

For months these two have been running around like a new couple crazy in love. Now this shouldnt generate much of a fuss but a few months ago it was said that Jhene Aiko had gotten married.

Now after much speculation earlier in the year Dot Da Genius (Jhene Aiko's music producer) confirmed that they were indeed married when he wished her a happy birthday in March.

"Happy Birthday to my gorgeous wife. Happy to be on this quest w/ you!!!" he wrote on his Instagram page on March 16, 2016. Dot Da Genius who real name is Oladipo Omishore shared a photo of him and Aiko in what looks like a private wedding ceremony.

From then on things have gone a little bit blurry. Later that month, March 28, 2016 to be precise Big Sean and Jhene Aiko announced that they will be releasing a collaborative LP titled ''. According to Billboard the album is a "story of the highs and lows of a relationship, with insights into conflict, memories, love, sex, and more."

Move over to April 11, 2016 and that's when things really get confusing. Big Sean and Jhene Aiko release a short-length film based off their album and in the film there are some eye raising scenes. Shortly after this rumours that the two artistes are dating begin to swirl.

In June 2016 they give what is described as a steamy performance on the Late Late Show With James Corden. They still denied that they are dating.

Most recently on July 4, 2016 Big Sean and Jhene Aiko kissed on stage while performing at Powerhouse in Anaheim, California. At this stage even if they are not speaking about it, it's kind of obvious something is going down. Also Big Sean and Jhene Aiko have been sending a lot of signals on social media also.

At this point, we have got to ask where is Jhene Aiko's husband in all of this? While the narrative has been that Jhene Aiko has been married to Dot Da Genius all this while, the singer said she was single as far back as late March 2016. And for the 'wife' post Dot Da Genius put up has since been deleted.

Has this been an elaborate marketing rouse to paint Big Sean and Jhene Aiko as a couple who are indulging in forbidden love so as to move their album or is Jhene Aiko cheating on her husband? Maybe Dot Da Genius wanted Jhene Aiko to be his wife but she was more interested in Big Sean. We can't however discount the picture of Dot Da Genius and Jhene Aiko in some sort of ceremony exchanging vows. Hopefully the truth will come out soon.
