Star 'pissed' at company using her for prostitution ring

The LAPD has opened an investigation on a company which used Amber Rose to luring young aspiring models into prostitution.

Amber Rose is 'pissed' and 'upset' after being used for a prostitution ring.

Rose was unknowingly being used as bait by a company promising to launch modeling careers for women. The scam would begin via an Instagram ad seeking women “for a paid celebrity photoshoot and clothing line” associated with Rose.

To convince the applicants that the gig was authentic, the perpetrators would set up a FaceTime call using old footage of Rose, and then have it cut out, supposedly due to poor service.

The scheme would then escalate to asking the prospective models to go on dates with rich men, telling them that being “intimate” would help further their career goals. One suspicious woman, however, filed a police report with the LAPD on Monday, August 17 accusing the company of actually running a prostitution ring. Rose took to Twitter and wrote:

But now that the full goal of the scam has been revealed, Rose is very 'upset anyone would do this kind of thing in the first place' to women.

A close friend to the star tells Gossip Cop that she “feels sorry” for the women who were duped, and hopes the cops nail the people responsible for the scam.
