When you are taking a drive and you get to tune to Soundcity FM, there is that soothing voice that captures your ears, and its that of Moet Abebe.

Over that last few years, Moet Abebe has been able to stand out as one of the most popular OAPs in the Nigeria. We take a look at a few things you need to know about the media personality.

1. Early Life

Born Laura Monyeazo Abebe on July 29, 1989, in the United Kingdom, Moet Abebe grew up in Lagos. Moet Abebe originally hails from the Ishan speaking tribe in Edo state. Her parents, Dr and Dr (Mrs) Abebe are related to the late former first lady of Nigeria, Mrs Stella Obasanjo.

2. Education

Moet Abebe attended Corona Schools for her primary education. She then moved on to Dowen College for the early secondary school education then moved to the UK where she attended Woldingham Secondary School in Woldingham, Surrey, and finally finishing at St. Teresa’s Secondary School also in Surrey where she then did her GCSE’s and her A-Levels. Moet Abebe is a Law graduate from the University of Manchester.

3. Career

Her journey towards stardom began three months after moving back to Nigeria and attended an audition for Soundcity TV, she sailed through the auditions and started working for Soundcity TV as a Tv Presenter and Producer.

Since then she has become a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry both on T.V. and on the radio where she hosts a number of shows on SoundCity's 98.5FM. She's the host of the popular 'TheTakeover' from 2-6pm Monday to Friday.

4. Award

Since becoming a regular face on T.V and one of the most popular OAPs in Nigeria, Moet Abebe has won a couple of awards for herself. Notable among the various awards in this beautiful OAP's shelf is the Exquisite Lady of The YearAward in 2017 for the On-Air personality of the year.

Moet Abebe has a voice made for T.V and radio we all know that but when it comes to looking sexy and going the extra mile to appear glamorous, you bet she can do justice to it.
