2. Education

After moving to England, Marvelous Dominion went on to Oxford where she studied Contemporary Performing Arts at Oxford Brookes University/London Academy of Media Film and Tv. According to the actress in an exclusive interview because of her passion for acting, she decided to go study and become a professional.

3. Acting/Modeling career

Her modeling and acting started when she was sixteen and relocated back to Nigeria to pursue a career in acting. While granting an interview with Mediaroom Hub magazine, the actress revealed how she got the role to play in Jude Idada's "3some" stage play

"When I got the script, I had to go through the story of course, Jude told me about the character I was supposed to portray in the play. First of all, I didn’t study theater art in school, I am not a professional stage actor, I’m a trained camera actress. Initially, I told Jude I am not sure I can do this but let’s see how we can work on this and make it come to fruition. It was encouraging because he said he was going to train me and see how far we could go on the field. He encouraged me and we had some rehearsals, 3 weeks rehearsals I think and then I went through the script, I loved the storyline and thought about it. I didn’t really think about it because I am a Nigerian, of course we have our own cultural beliefs in this country, the only thing I thought of was just what makes me happy.," she said.

4. Relationship

Marvelous Dominion is presently not in any relationship but she spoke exclusively about her previous relationship while granting an interview which lasted for five years. She revealed that she was in an abusive relationship and had to opt out of it.

"He was overly protective, he did a lot of things to me and he was always hitting me for some petty reasons. Initially, I never knew it was like this, along the way my eyes opened to some deep things and I realized I was in a wrong relationship. At first, I didn’t know what to do because I was stupidly in love.

"When he came back to Nigeria and we both stayed in my own apartment. On his birthday, he acted really crazy and hit me again, that was the day I decided to leave the relationship for good. Not that I don’t have friends, I do have a lot of them and we hang out sometimes," she revealed.

5. Harassment by movie producers

Marvelous Dominion has had her own fair share of being harassed by movie producers in Nollywood. According to the upcoming actress, she has been a victim and it happens whenever she goes for auditions.

"I have been a victim before, whenever I go for auditioning, I get picked one way or the other and it always ends with I like you. Most of them say the sentence ‘I want to protect you in the industry’ and I’m like really? I am a trained actor and am I supposed to sleep with a producer or director to get a movie role? So that is the main reason why I have to keep my cool in the industry," she revealed.
