Nollywood titan Omotola Jalade- Ekeinde and stand-up juggernaut Ali Baba will receive honours at the 2015 African Achievers Awards.

The event takes place in Johannesburg, South Africa on July 25, 2015.

Rex Idaminabo, the principal partner of AAA spoke on why the two celebs are being honoured.

"While Omotala’s zeal and consistency created the needed breakthrough for Nollywood to thrive, Ali Baba took the comedy business to a different level in the country. Both Omotola and Ali Baba created a path for others to follow. They showed other artists the desired paths, and today, entertainment has become one of the main industries in Nigeria and in Africa that pays more people than any other industry" he said.
