During an interview with News24 Live, AKA walked out when he was asked about Bonang Matheba. AKA spoke to his manager before getting up, and leaving the interview set.
Earlier in the interview AKA said he thrives in controversy. “Controversy is like my comfort zone" he said.

AKA and DJ Zinhle broke up in September a few months after the birth of their daughter. In October, DJ Zinhle revealed that AKA was allegedly having an affair with Bonang Matheba for five months when she was pregnant.
Bonang Matheba and AKA have both denied this claim.
