7 celebrities we love their performance at the #30BillionConcert

We know the #30BillionConcert has come and gone but the memories still linger on as we take a look at 7 celebrities who performed at the show.

It’s probably the first time in a really long time we’ve seen so many celebrities and superstars turn up for one of their own and perform.

While so many amazing performers came through, these are the people that made the night memorable:

1. Falz

While Falz The Bahd Guy might have a thing for “Something Light”, he came heavy at this show. It’s incredible how his craft has grown better and better by the year, making him one of the most sought-after people in show business.

2. Olamide

Baado! Olamide has a claim to the Lagos Pop Culture throne, and it is valid. Because when he gets into the booth or climbs a stage, everyone goes crazy. Look, when Olamide said “Wo”, NEPA brought light in all the people; the electricity was incredible.

3. Daddy Showkey

Daddy Showkey might be old, but he still has the sauce. That’s pretty much what makes him a legend. It doesn’t matter what he’s singing, as long as he’s on stage, we take the nostalgic journey with him.

4. 2Face

2Face has always been a show stunner, and he brought on stage with him, the man who inspired his biggest song of 2017, the Gaaga Shuffle. Every time we see 2 Face on stage is a reminder that he still holds a special place in our hearts.

5. Mo'Hits

It took 2 months to convince them and make this happen, but the entire Mo’Hits showed up on stage and it was like watching the 2000’s replay itself in a few minutes. Every member of the defunct group showed up and blessed the fans with hit songs like ‘Pere’, ‘Booty call’, ‘Give it to me’, ‘Pop something’ and ‘Suddenly’.

6. Wizkid

What’s better than one shocker? Two. Wizkid, a long-term rival of the night’s star, showed up on stage, and side by side with Davido, gave everyone a memorable night.

7. Davido

We had to save The Baddest for last. Is there a better way for his 2017 to climax, after hits like ‘Fall’, ‘If’, and ‘FIA’ than to have a show that people will be remembering for a long time? A show where old fires were re-ignited? And old rivalries turned to a sport?

Is there?

2018 looks like it’ll be greater. Here’s to greater alliances and fruitful partnerships.
