Pop singer loses N114m for turning down political gigs and post

The BET Award winner also revealed that he turned down an offer to contest for a seat at the House of Representatives during the last general elections in Nigeria.

 

Hypertek boss and award winning musician, 2face Idibia has revealed losing a total of N114m ($570,000) for refusing to perform at political gigs.

Idibia's decision stemmed from the launch of Vote Not Fight Campaign, an initiative of his non governmental organization, 2Face Idibia Foundation.

The campaign which is a initiative took the music star on regional tours and grassroot engagements across the country.
